Design Intent
The irregular design of this shelf was inspired by the different book formats. The rhythmic layout of different sized boards allows books of all sizes to be stored perfectly. At the same time it creates an unconventional aesthetic apart from traditional shelf designs.

Process

The wooden boards rest loosely on two steal straps, which meander jointlessly from the floor to the ceiling.
